Jump into the fog.

Last night I lit these candles (they are "sugar cookie" scented, and smell like a bakery), put on the new Wombats album, and cleaned the absolute crap out of my room. My room's not usually that messy, it's just got a lot of shit in it. So I went through my desk and bedside tables getting rid of heaps of junk.

It looks and feels much better!

Then I sat down to do some assignments and realised I have only 2 and a half to go before I am done with uni. This brought on a minor freak out. Where is this course going to get me? I've been trawling through jobs for months and not found one that would be perfect for me. I've found some that I'll be qualified for, but wouldn't enjoy. I have found some I'd LOVE, but don't have the required 3 years experience/reliable vehicle/correct degree.

I finish in EXACTLY a month and a day.

Maybe I'll just work wherever, earn enough money and head off to Europe, because that is one thing I definitely want to do while I'm still young!

But we'll see. A good job might come up in the next month. *fingers crossed*

  1. I saw the Wombats on Monday night.

They were absolutely amazing. I saw the title of this post and all I could think of was 'win'

  3. When the synth at the start of 'Our Perfect Disease' opened their set you could just tell it was going to go off.

And they closed with Joy Division. Such a good night, but I don't think they are coming back to Australia for a while =[

That's okay, I'll hunt them down on my eventual travels!

  6. It took me almost a year to get a job after I graduated. That job was after travelling to the other side of the world and becoming a temping superstar. Things will happen when they are meant to. Enjoy the unknown, it is a great place to be in as you have so many options.

  7. I suppose that is a plus - having options. Let's hope things do happen - at least before my centrelink study payments end!

Haha, Nick, see you there! (wishful thinking)
